REST WITH CARE

1st Nov - 4th Nov 2025

4D/3N In-person retreat at Continental House, Hepburn Springs

with Wai Ying Tham

Rest is an a counter cultural act in a production driven society. Rest is necessary to progress and grow towards what matters.

So, how do you rest with the care of what matters to you? It is even more critical in today’s rapidly changing and challenging world. We have a choice of falling into it automaticity or move through it consciously. This where rest comes into the picture.

I invite you to join me for REST WITH CARE retreat this November to reconnect with what truly matters to you, to reenergise your resolve towards what matters, to gain clarity of what is needed or asking of you as you nourish your body mind and come into your own inner knowing.

In this 4day/3nights retreat, we will dive deep into somatic meditative practices that will enhance the innate connection of bodymind for deep listening of your inner wisdom and heart intuition.
Your bodymind will be nourished by the practices, silence and beauty of the environment.

What to expect:

  • Embodiment Sessions: Participate in daily sessions integrating movement either through yoga asana or somatic movements, breathwork, and body awareness to help you fully inhabit your body and experience life more authentically through all your senses.

  • Mindfulness Practices: Engage in daily guided meditations, yoga nidra and mindfulness exercises to help you ground yourself in the present moment and tap into your inner wisdom.

  • Connection with Nature: Immerse yourself in natural landscapes. Experience the healing power of Nature as you explore the beautiful surroundings.

  • Collective stillness: invitation to observe silence for part of the retreat

  • Nourishing Cuisine: Enjoy delicious, locally sourced meals prepared with love, designed to nourish your body and elevate your spirit. Our meals cater to all dietary preferences, ensuring a wholesome dining experience.

  • Community and Connection: Connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive, nurturing environment. Build lasting friendships as you embark on this journey of self-discovery together.

Wai Ying Tham

I am radical about resting back to ourselves. Meditation and restorative yoga provided me a way back to home even whilst going through health challenges - breast cancer and more recently anemia and perimenopause.

I am passionate about how to feel free in our bodies. our bodies are the vehicle of action. An easeful and supple body is one that has choices, hence freedom.

WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT WAI YING

" Restorative Yoga has become a regular personal practice for me after attending for many years with Wai Ying. The practice itself is very healing for my mind, body and spirit but it is the personal teaching of Wai Ying that keeps me coming back! Wai Ying's care and kindness towards the participants builds trust and comfort in the experience. Her passion, dedication and professionalism to the practice is inspiring. The practice is important to me in 'resetting' my inner balance from daily stressors. I leave every restorative class with a sense of calm, rejuvenation and an uplifted spirit.” S. Sky Essendon

""Wai Ying Tham's somatic movement class left me deeply relaxed and with increased comfort in my joints. I could feel clear change in the postural and movement habits I identified at the beginning of class. Her caring, warmth and clear instruction created a good space for exploring, discovering, taking care of myself through these effective techniques." Laura M Gates, CHSE, age 65, trainer for Essential Somatics LLC.
